Welcome to my homepage!

It's 2008, so I thought I should update my homepage since it's been about 10 years since it did that. Open Web Design provided a nice template for the design challenged like myself. I'm not even sure what people include on a home page these days, I think most people prefer to donate their personal details to Facebook rather than random web crawlers :-). Anyway, here it is, although it's still a work in progress. Forgive the missing links or ancient pages linked from here.

About Me

Flying in Grinderwald

"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." -- Leonardo da Vinci

My passions are flying paragliders, developing software and travelling the world. Most of my travels are for flying these days, but it takes me to many of the world's beautiful mountainous regions and occasionally to really flat terrain in the middle of nowhere. Check out some of my photos, most which of flying or whilst flying. To afford all that travel and flying I develop software, which I've been doing since the Apple ][+ was a new machine. A sample of my software efforts can be seen in my open source contributions. I'm always interested in cutting edge software development and embedded development projects so feel free to contact me if you've got interesting work!
